Alright Molly, I'd love it if you'd do that. Well some of the points are written above. I'm a muslim btw, Im not a jehova's witness but I use all sources that come by me. You see there are almost 1023 sects in Christianity. If we want to intermingle and squabble over which sect's sources i'm presenting them its alright. We'll discuss it strictly from the Bible.

In my experience, No two Christians seem to believe the same thing. You have one who may take the Bible in the literal sense as the word of God, and another who would tell himself that some parts are possible to be the word of God and others are just words of man. Then there are those who have what I like to call a universally flawed concept.

Concepts such as forexample. All religions are basically like rivers and all rivers lead back to the sea e.g God so it does not matter what religion you are, you will end up with God. On first sight it looks like an applausable theory but having studied different religions I can say its not accurate. All religions are different infact some even contradict in their beliefs. Also for whoever believes in this theory, Will they convert to my religion then? If not, why not?

But you are correct in your blog, your position with God is indeed a uncommon one and I dont feel any Christian who goes to a denomination or even goes to church may necassarily agree with you (Exceptions exist) You see, The Bible speaks against looking at girls boobies as well. I think you must be familiar with it, Jesus said,

    Matthew 5:28-30

28But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

29And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

30And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

So even watching women in a lustful way is forbidden. If the Bible is not even seen as the word of God by Christians themselves, How can people from other beliefs ever take it seriously? Thankyou

Nicely done Molly, Although I disagree with some points and Obviously its not out of disrespect of any kind ^_^ Thankyou for sharing your thoughts and views. I agree with the fact that marriage is nothing but a contract you make with the person, Although people often associate God with it for some strange reason but thats good for them.

I personally believe if someone holds the belief of lets say a triune God, Jesus being crucified or being the Son of God then it should be put to the test by the scripture provided such as the Bible. In my studies of the Bible I have not found a single verse saying that Jesus was God incarnate, or that he was part of God. In the old testament God has sons and daughters by the tonnes, So I agree from a biblical sense that we are all his sons and daughters.

Now here comes the challenge, The new testament is said to be "inspired" by God, but if its inspired then why do the gospels contradict one another several times? If the bible is "inspired" Then how can the prejudice rulings of man ever enter it?

"Whatsoever thing I command you, observe to do it; and thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it." Deuteronomy 12:32.

I'm asking the question, The bible itself is telling all its followers very diplomatically to not follow it. You and I both agree the Bible has been changed and almost mutilated by additions upon additions and removal of scriptures e.g the apocrypha. So why do Christians still believe a book with instances of rape, incest, God riding on little child angels? A book that does not condemn Alcohol but praises it? A book that had 50,000 errors in 1971 as reported by the christian magazine "Awake!" and the statement that "most of them have been corrected"

My skepticism of the Christian doctrine is that it is no longer even a scripture to believe in. I want to know a Christian's point of view. I want to know what they think about their Bible despite knowing that its been changed over and over again to suit the needs of man instead of leaving it as the unchanged word of God.

your weird. If you loved him and he loved you then what was the problem? You see, my ex became mentally handicapped, we had similar feelings to one another but she literally just went mad. She took everything around hr so seriously and in the end the person I knew died inside her. I knew i had to let go. Its a mental sickness that dwells within extremist religious people.

I'm glad someone on blogster feels or has been through the same as me.

The concept of text language being used is common amongst people who even chat using the internet. they will say words like Kewl, "Im f9" etc, But I doubt in a school class for a written essay they will use such language, Its about keeping the two different languages seperate rather than imagining the one language is being butchered.

As a Christian would do you actually believe? Do you believe in the Original? Do you believe in the Trinity? Do you believe Jesus was God? Also do you follow the whole of the Bible or just parts of it? forexample the Bible speaks of women not opening their mouths in church.

:D I'm just messing, im sorry to hear someone assaulted you like that. They should not have,

I read your blog, but you seemed to be going all over the place with it.

"How could we have a God who decides he doesnt love someone by poor choices yet he gave us the power to choose?"

IF theological study you learn about why God gave us free will. Its because he loves you if you make the decision which he wants you to make rather than one which he doesnt. Fornication, adultery, drugs are not actions he permits, but you can do it if you do not wish to follow his teachings. Obviously you will be judged for them in the afterlife.

You mentioned religious class systems, but you see you forget that there are class systems within sinners as well, One who takes drugs one night may be  less of a sinner than another man who raped and killed a woman. Severity is also written in the Bible and other holy books so that must be put into consideration as well.

All in all, There are 3 monotheistic religions. I tend to challenge any Christian believer to prove to be the Bible is Gods word, infact even have a debate. Not a single one of them can admit to themselves the things written in the Bible forexample. 10 cases of incest within Genesis alone, God riding little girls as his transport. etc, People dont believe that for some reason but only believe what they paid their pastor to tell them (I believe mmmolly wrote something along those lines)

So Once again, I leave my challenge on this blog as well. Any christian who believes his or her Bible is the word of God. Come, debate with me. I'll make a public topic so people can judge whether its fair or not etc.
